We here at Lawrenceville Pediatrics understand that you have many questions about ways you can keep your child safe from the Coronavirus. Below are many precautions we believe you should take to decrease you and your child’s risk of infection.
Educate Your Child About Proper Hygiene
Serve as a role model for your child, and teach them to sanitize and wash their hands well and often. Additionally, tell them to avoid touching their face, and to cough or sneeze into their elbow.
Ensure Your Home Caregivers Are Of Good Health
Make sure that whoever cares for your children when you are away is of good health. Use caution when choosing Grandparents to be caregivers if possible, as older persons as well as those will chronic medical conditions are more susceptible to the virus.
Practice Proper Social Distancing
Do not involve your child in playdates, gatherings, or sporting events. Attempt to keep your child six feet or more away from others.
